Rainwalk Rewild is a wilderness school in the North Cascades region of Western Washington. Our instructors guide others to their belonging on this earth and to the stories in their bones through wilderness survival training, foraging and ethnobotany courses, ancestral handcraft workshops, youth outdoor education programs, and rewilding mentorship in the Pacific Northwest.

Our Offerings

We create containers that open a deeper conversation with the world by bridging our ancestral knowledge of earth skills and soul-centric practices. Our offerings include land-based educational programs for adults and youth and guidance towards a life of belonging on Earth and a reclaiming of our stories. As stewards of nature in the Pacific Northwest, our instructors guide others in rewilding by helping them develop skills in wilderness survival, primitive technology, ancestral handcrafts, nature connection, wildlife track and sign, foraging, mushroom identification, and ethnobotany.

Field Courses

  • Join us for a one or two day Field Course about wilderness survival, ethnobotany, foraging, mycology, or ancestral handcrafts. We also host many community gatherings that foster nature connection and rewilding in Skagit County and the Pacific Northwest.

With experienced instructors who are passionate about sustainable living and nature connection, Rainwalk Rewild provides a safe and supportive learning environment, encouraging resiliency and awareness in nature. Whether you are a curious child, adventurous teenager, or a seasoned outdoorsperson, Rainwalk Rewild offers a unique blend of education, adventure, and community, guiding individuals to thrive in harmony with the land.

Wilderness is not a luxury but a necessity of the human spirit, as vital to our lives as water and good bread.
