We will begin the day with an insightful introduction to the world of ethnobotany and how it connects us with nature.
10:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Plant Walk
Following the introduction, we will embark on a guided plant walk where you will discover and learn to identify various winter plant species and their ethnobotanical applications.
12:00 PM - 12:30 PM: Lunch Break
Sit back, relax, and enjoy a nourishing lunch amidst the serene surroundings. Connect with fellow participants and engage in stimulating conversations about the wonders of ethnobotany.
12:30 PM - 1:30 PM: Cottonwood Bud Salve
In this session, our experienced instructors will guide you through the process of harvesting cottonwood buds sustainably and transforming them into a healing salve. You will have the opportunity to create your own unique cottonwood bud salve to take home.
1:30 PM - 2:30 PM: Cherry Bark Syrup
