2025 Spring Overnight Campout

$199.00

Wilderness HomeSkills – Spring 2025 Overnight Campout

May 17–18, 2025 | Saturday 10 AM – Sunday 12 PM
For enrolled HomeSkills students
Tuition: $199 (optional add-on)

This special spring overnight offers HomeSkills students the chance to deepen their wilderness knowledge in a fully immersive, overnight forest experience. Together we’ll build on the skills we’ve practiced throughout the year—fire tending, shelter building, knife safety, foraging, and more—while strengthening group bonds and expanding each child’s confidence and self-reliance in nature.

We'll camp together at Tyee Arts & Education Center from Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon. Students will have the option to sleep in personal tents, communal tarps, or the natural debris shelters they've helped construct (weather permitting). We'll provide meals: dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. A small number of tents, tarps, and sleeping bags are available to borrow—please let us know if your child needs gear.

This overnight is open only to currently enrolled Wilderness HomeSkills students and is not included in regular tuition. Attendance is optional but highly encouraged—it’s often a highlight of the year for returning students.
