In addition to our field courses, we're excited to offer workshops about mycology, foraging, and herbal medicine as well as free community gatherings, where like-minded nature lovers can come together to share knowledge, stories, and a deep appreciation for the wild. Sliding Scale registration fees are offered for most of our courses. The pricing will either be available at registration or by request.

Eastern Cascades Ethnobotany Intensive
Join our Eastern Cascades Ethnobotany Intensive for a weekend of hands-on foraging and plant identification. Explore the unique plants of the region, learn sustainable harvesting techniques, and dive into the traditional uses of wild plants for food, medicine, and crafting. This immersive campout will deepen your connection to nature and expand your foraging knowledge.
3-Day Backpacking Ethnobotany Intensive
Join our 3-day High Elevation North Cascades Ethnobotany Backpacking Trip! Hike, forage, and explore high-altitude plants, learn sustainable harvesting, and create plant-based crafts. This immersive backpacking experience offers hands-on learning in one of Washington’s most stunning landscapes. Pack your gear and gain new foraging skills in the wild!
The Forager’s Apprentice: November - Late Fall Roots

Starting in July and ending in November, we will discover the world of edible and medicinal plants and fungi. Our November session delves into identifying and preparing roots from edible and medicinal plants.
